We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and innovate suspension components for the passionate performance driving community.

About Us:
Elephant Racing is a pioneer in the performance suspension industry, pushing the limits of aftermarket Porsche suspension systems. We are engineers, tinkerers, and track enthusiasts who excel in a collaborative, fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Your Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle—from ideation to prototyping, manufacturing, and beyond. Your CAD expertise, hands-on prototyping skills, and mechanical intuition will shape the future of our suspension product line, including shocks, bushings, sway bars, and active/semi-active suspension systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design projects through the full product lifecycle
• Create detailed engineering documentation (BOMs, technical drawings, manufacturing notes)
• Prototype using 3D printing, machining, and other hands-on tools
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams
• Provide technical support to customers
• Contribute to product improvements and maintenance
• Represent the company at events and races
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team

What You Bring:

Professional Requirements:

• BSME or equivalent technical degree
• 2–10 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
• Expert proficiency with SolidWorks
• Experience with prototyping tools (3D printers, lathes, mills, etc.)
• Mechatronics or hands-on electromechanical experience is a plus

Personal Qualifications:

• Deep passion for high-performance cars (Porsche/BMW)
• Track driving, club racing, or autocross experience REQUIRED
• Customer-focused mindset and clear communication skills
• Self-starter with an innovative approach to challenges
• Willingness to attend weekend events and serve as a brand ambassador
