Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Lead Field Operations leader in Abilene to oversee large-scale construction operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and drive performance from preconstruction through turnover. You will mentor field personnel, optimize planning, scheduling, prefabrication, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver safe, high-quality projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction leadership experience.
• Experience leading commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction projects.
• College degree or equivalent combination of experience and technical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, workforce planning, and project execution activities.
• Lead and coordinate craft professionals, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership teams.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive project Master Plan to support successful project delivery.
• Manage scheduling activities and ensure work is performed in alignment with milestones and objectives.
• Execute, supervise, and maintain CPM scheduling and project planning initiatives.
• Coordinate daily and weekly work activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Requisition, manage, and track project tools, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship quality, and equipment supplier execution.
• Coordinate inspections and maintain relationships with project authorities and inspectors.
• Review labor hours, productivity reports, and project cost information with Project Management.
• Drive project quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, budgeting, and resource allocation strategies.
• Maintain complete project documentation and mentor field personnel.
