Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a Project Manager II for a mechanical construction company in Raleigh, NC. You will lead end-to-end project execution from startup and planning through procurement, field coordination, commissioning, and closeout.

You will manage subcontractors and cross-functional teams, maintain quality, safety, schedule, budget, and client-service objectives while building strong client relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and piping systems and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution to meet contract requirements, specs, and quality.
• Manage project document control and cross-functional coordination across teams.
• Lead subcontractor management including contracts, schedule, and changes.
• Direct safety planning, inspections, and high-risk field activities with safe practices.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules, manpower plans, and recovery strategies.
• Oversee procurement strategy and major purchasing decisions.
• Review financial reports and manage risks to support project goals.
• Maintain strong client relationships as primary owner contact.
• Lead project startup, logistics planning, and closeout activities.
