Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead complex HVAC and plumbing projects from inception to closeout. You will be the primary point-person driving safety, budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction while coordinating with clients, subs, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in mechanical construction project management, a Construction Management degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management in mechanical construction/plumbing.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or significant related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical construction projects of varying sizes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality.
• Define project scope, schedule, deliverables, risks, and expectations.
• Manage installation of HVAC and Plumbing per code requirements.
• Evaluate estimate and set up job costing with labor, material, and subcontract costs.
• Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor POs; review submittals.
• Conduct monthly cost reviews and keep stakeholders informed.
• Build and maintain strong customer relations with owners, GC, subs, and vendors.
• Evaluate and develop field personnel including foremen and superintendents.
• Maintain a safe work environment through safety meetings and investigations.
