Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of complex projects in Raleigh, NC. You will define scope, manage costs, coordinate HVAC and plumbing installs, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes strong client communication, subcontractor management, and long-term customer relationships to drive future work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or significant related experience in Construction Management.
• 7+ years of relevant project management work experience; experience in the mechanical construction/plumbing industry is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of construction management principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, budgeting, and personnel management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and smaller projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical construction projects of various sizes and complexity
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery
• Define project scope, schedule, deliverables, and risks for successful delivery
• Manage installation of HVAC and Plumbing that meet code requirements, budget, and on-time installation
• Evaluate estimates and set up job costing by labor, material, and subcontract costs
• Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals
• Conduct monthly reports and cost reviews to keep stakeholders informed
• Build and maintain strong customer relations with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal customers
• Evaluate and develop field personnel including workers, foremen, and superintendents
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment through safety meetings, incident investigations, and employee involvement
