Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC is seeking a Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of mechanical construction projects in Charlotte, NC. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing costs, labor, and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with owners, general contractors, and internal teams to exceed client expectations. Competitive benefits are offered as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or significant related experience.
• 7+ years of relevant project management experience in mechanical construction/plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, safety and contract management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical construction projects of various sizes and complexity.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Define project scope, schedule, deliverables, risks and expectations for successful delivery.
• Oversee installation of HVAC and plumbing meeting code, budget, and schedule.
• Set up job costing system with labor, material, and subcontract costs.
• Negotiate purchase orders with vendors/subcontractors and review submittals.
• Conduct monthly cost reviews and reports to keep stakeholders informed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, GCs, subcontractors, vendors and internal customers.
• Develop field personnel including workers, foremen and superintendents.
• Maintain a safe work environment through safety meetings and investigations.
