Job summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Construction Manager to lead field operations on large, complex industrial projects across our active portfolio, including data centers, power generation, mining, oil & gas and water treatment facilities.

The role requires 15+ years of industrial construction experience, deep piping/ mechanical knowledge, and the ability to supervise self-perform crews, manage safety, schedule and budget while coordinating with

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industrial construction experience.
• Experience leading mechanical scopes on large, complex projects.
• Knowledge of ASME piping codes and NBIC standards.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership for one very large or several concurrent industrial projects.
• Direct process piping, equipment setting, alignment (pumps, compressors, turbines, boilers, heat exchangers, vessels, cooling towers, chillers, air handlers).
• Oversee safety, budget, schedule, quality, productivity and profitability across all scopes.
• Lead self-perform mechanical workforce and QA/QC coordination with third-party inspectors.
• Contribute to pursuit and preconstruction activities—estimates, execution plans, logistics, and client presentations.
• Monitor design deliverables, long-lead procurement, and field installation to protect critical path.
• Supervise and mentor field personnel; build bench strength for the district's pipeline.
• Manage contracts and change orders with owners and subcontractors.
• Communicate risks and opportunities clearly with owners and EPC teams.
