Job summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona, is hiring an Electrical Construction Manager to lead field operations on large industrial electrical scopes. You will oversee safety, schedule, budget, and quality across multi-site projects including data centers and energy facilities.

The role requires extensive experience with high/medium voltage systems, commissioning, and coordination with civil, structural, and I&C teams. Travel to project sites nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or training in electrical and/or industrial engineering, construction management, engineering technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 15+ years of progressive industrial construction experience, with a demonstrated track record leading electrical scopes on large, complex projects.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NETA acceptance testing standards, IEEE and ANSI standards; familiarity with electrical completion systems and turnover to commissioning.
• Direct experience on mission critical / hyperscale data centers, gas- or renewable-fired power generation, mining and mineral processing, semiconductor and advanced manufacturing, utility infrastructure, water/wastewater, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel to and relocate near active project sites across PCL Industrial's geographic footprint.

Responsibilities

• Champion and role-model PCL's HSE culture on industrial sites with elevated hazard profiles and influence safety policy and incident learnings.
• Provide field leadership for large industrial projects, accountable for safety, budget, quality, schedule, productivity, and profitability.
• Direct execution of electrical scopes including substations, distribution, switchgear, UPS and emergency power, generators, relaying, grounding, and controls.
• Attend design management meetings and drive constructability reviews for equipment layout and outages.
• Monitor design deliverables and assist permits, procurement, shop drawings, and commissioning activities.
• Provide leadership to the self-perform electrical workforce and oversee QA/QC coordination with third-party inspectors.
• Support pursuit and preconstruction efforts with estimates, execution and logistics planning, and client presentations.
