Job summary

STRUCTR Advisors seeks an experienced Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join as Senior Mechanical Commissioning Manager. This leadership role grows our commissioning practice, provides technical expertise in MEP systems, builds client relationships, and guides project delivery across commissioning and building systems consulting services.

You will mentor staff, uphold high technical standards, support strategic growth, and travel as needed to serve clients.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering is required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in commissioning, MEP engineering, building systems, or related fields.
• Proven success leading complex projects and managing client relationships.
• Experience driving business development and growing client accounts.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel periodically and work from the office in collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee commissioning projects from design review through closeout.
• Advise owners, architects, contractors, and facility operators on MEP performance.
• Drive business development through proposals and client meetings.
• Provide technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, BAS, and building systems.
• Support project teams with troubleshooting and commissioning coordination.
• Maintain and improve commissioning standards and quality expectations.
• Mentor a growing team of commissioning and engineering professionals.
• Support construction teams to achieve commissioning objectives with practical guidance.
• Represent STRUCTR Advisors as a technical and industry expert.
