Job summary

STRUCTR Advisors seeks a Senior Manager for our Mechanical Analysis & Commissioning team to lead and grow the Mechanical Analysis business unit. This role will drive business development, technical excellence, project execution, staff development, and client management.

The core functions include building commissioning, energy modeling, and supporting related construction activities, with engagement as a commissioning liaison on projects with third-party providers to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in commissioning, engineering consulting, MEP systems, facility operations, or construction.
• Demonstrated success managing commissioning projects and client relationships.
• Experience in business development to cultivate and grow business.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Combination of Certifications from the below: CCP, BCxP, EBCP, LEED AP, CEM.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop direct report staff on commissioning projects.
• Review and enhance STRUCTR commissioning standards and processes.
• Manage staffing, workload planning, and team performance.
• Support HR with hiring and staff professional development needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, design teams, contractors, and facility stakeholders.
• Compile proposals, participate in interviews, and assist in contract negotiations.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and market expansion.
• Engage as commissioning manager on projects and assign staff to commission / manage other projects.
