Job summary

Insight Global in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Lead to drive commissioning activities from construction completion through turnover of large-scale projects.

You will develop and manage plans, procedures, and schedules, coordinate across owners, contractors, engineers, and vendors, and oversee testing and acceptance of mechanical systems including HVAC, BAS, and piping networks. On-site role in Union City, GA with collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical commissioning on large commercial, manufacturing, semiconductor, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, heating hot water systems, air handling units, pumps, piping systems, controls, and building automation systems (BAS).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and commissioning documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mechanical commissioning activities from construction completion through project turnover.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, procedures, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate commissioning efforts between owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and equipment vendors.
• Oversee startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing, and final acceptance of mechanical systems.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, test procedures, and commissioning documentation.
• Track commissioning progress and ensure all testing activities are completed on schedule.
• Identify and resolve commissioning issues, deficiencies, and system conflicts.
