Job summary

ST Technical Services seeks a Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a major data center project in Atlanta, GA. This site‑dedicated leadership role directs the mechanical Cx team through L1–L5, manages documentation, and interfaces with the client and GC/MEP partners.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in mechanical commissioning on data centers, strong leadership, and proven experience delivering L1–L5 commissioning, IST and turnover packages on complex facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mechanical commissioning, engineering, construction, or mission-critical facilities.
• Significant direct data center commissioning experience required.
• Experience leading mechanical commissioning activities through L1–L5 on data center projects.
• Proven leadership of Mechanical Cx Engineers and field staff.
• Ownership of commissioning documentation, system turnover, and client deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Commissioning program through L1–L5 for a large-scale data center project.
• Manage and provide technical leadership to Mechanical Commissioning Engineers and field personnel.
• Assign work, set priorities, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are met.
• Interface with client, GC/CM, MEP contractors, design engineers, and controls teams.
• Lead L5 Integrated Systems Testing and project-status reporting.
