Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years in mechanical assembly, equipment build, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading complex mechanical builds and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, CAD models, BOMs, and assembly procedures.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, torque-controlled assembly, and precision measurement devices.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly and integration of mechanical systems and prototypes.
• Support development, testing, validation, and commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve designs and manufacturability.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Perform inspections and quality verification checks.
• Document build processes and modifications.
• Prepare parts and BOM reviews to ensure full kits for builds.
• Coordinate with shipping and palletization for transfer units.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerances meet specifications.
