Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals–the fastest growing rental business in North America–is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment. You will work to minimize downtime while following safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, strong hydraulics and electrical systems knowledge, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities; bilingual ability may be required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some trade training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment.
• Strong hydraulics and electrical systems knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual ability may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Repair a variety of diesel/heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow safety policies and work collaboratively with a team.
