Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Mechanic Tech III for our high production shop in Riverside, CA. You will perform major diagnostics, repair and overhaul customer vehicles, using OEM tests and wiring diagrams to ensure contractual obligations are met.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, drivetrain, and engine issues, performing maintenance, and leading junior technicians. A strong background in automotive systems and certifications is required for this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in the field.
• Certifications A-4, A-5, A-7 and A-2 or A-3 are required.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and use diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support high production shop with diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and braking systems.
• Perform major repairs and overhauls as required.
• Operate diagnostic test equipment and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Maintain documentation of vehicle repairs and service.
