Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, seeks a Mechanic Tech to support a high-production shop by diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles. The role includes A/C, brakes, electrical, cooling systems and drive-train work, with emphasis on safety and quality service.

The position requires 3–5 years in automotive repair, valid license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and advancement opportunities are available within the ADESA network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive repair field.
• Proficient diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in brake, tire and wheel, a/c, battery charge and check.

Responsibilities

• As a Mechanic Tech in our high production mechanic shop, you will support the mechanic shop by performing assigned diagnostic repair or maintenance on customer vehicles.
• A/C, Heater & Refrigeration - Flush system contaminants, evacuate system, add oil and charge with freon.
• Brakes - Diagnose brake problems, replace cylinders and calipers, perform failure analysis of components.
• Electrical Charging Systems - Perform full diagnostic, including in-depth analysis and corrections.
• Cooling Systems - Check and adjust coolant levels, antifreezes, and perform minor repairs.
• Starting/Cranking System - Analyze to identify root cause and repair.
