Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking an entry-level mechanic for our high-production shop. You will support the shop by performing light mechanical work and inspections under the guidance of the Mechanic Shop or manager.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of automotive repair experience or related trade school, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive pay and benefits accompany growth opportunities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of experience in automotive repair or related trade school experience.
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license that meets requirements.

Responsibilities

• Brake pad, rotor and fluid inspection and service.
• Battery test and installation.
• Electrical charging system check and lighting inspection.
• Engine belt, fluid, and filter inspection; oil/filter replacement.
• Tire and wheel maintenance; rotate/patch; mount/balance as needed.
• Light mechanical repairs including fluids, filters, bulbs, wipers.
• Perform multi-point inspections and track vehicle information.
