Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to join our field service team in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse range of equipment, including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and power generators.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and trade training. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth at Sunbelt Rentals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills; advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner
• Work with a varied fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC and power generators
