Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in New Orleans, LA seeks a Sr. Mech & Robotics Tech to lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects.

You will train technicians, lead preventative maintenance audits, and maintain positive relations within Operations. Expect 12-hour shifts with up to 20% travel and physical demands as listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 3+ years of experience in preventative maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 2+ years of work order management experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
• Create and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Develop training plans for service technicians and emergency repair work.
• Travel up to 20% at a minimum.
