Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter in Temple, TX to process meat products and support department goals. You will cut and portion meat, maintain sanitation, and assist customers with purchasing decisions while working with a team to ensure high standards.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, keeping shelves in stock, and using handheld tools to improve the shopping experience and product quality for members.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, grind and wrap meat products according to specifications with attention to portion control and presentation.
• Maintain food safety standards, sanitation guidelines and inventory management for meat products.
• Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment used in meat processing and packaging.
• Ensure in-stock levels and proper labeling/packaging to support sales and reduce shrinkage.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and educate associates on tools and resources.
