Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter in Terre Haute, IN to drive sales and meet member expectations. You will cut, slice, grind and wrap meat products, maintain sanitation, and ensure accurate inventory while leveraging handheld devices to improve service.

You will collaborate with team members, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to profitability and packaging quality while assisting members with purchases and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborate with cross functional teams and educate others on tools, tasks and resources to provide customer service.
• Be an Expert: maintain knowledge of meat types, cut; process meat to specs, ensuring food safety and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: use handheld technology to drive sales, support training and product quality.
