Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources to provide customer service.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of meat types, seasonality, equipment use and backroom operations.
• Processes meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) and ensures food safety and inventory control.
• Uses handheld technology to drive sales and make immediate business decisions while serving members.
• Drives the business by maintaining quality, profitability and reducing waste in high-shrink meat merchandise.
• Acts with integrity and represents Walmart values while training others and addressing roadblocks.
