Position Summary...

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt these tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean work area, and ensure quality standards for high-volume meat products. Eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area, modeling high-quality service and products, and assisting in training team members. Address roadblocks and promote a culture of high performance.
• Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and colleagues, and communicating progress. Identify opportunities for improvement and adapt to change.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums depending on circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
