Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions, ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored, and eliminate waste.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, interacting with associates to understand and overcome roadblocks, and assisting in training.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and coworkers, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.

We offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and educational assistance through Live Better U. The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with additional premiums in specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
