Job summary

Eastern Area Agency on Aging in Brewer, ME is seeking a Program Coordinator to lead Home Delivered Meals & Community Café programs across Southern Penobscot County. This full-time role runs 7:30 am–4 pm, Mon–Fri, with travel as needed.

You will determine eligibility, maintain records, coordinate deliveries, and supervise volunteers, making a direct impact on older adults in the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills.
• Knowledge of programs and services for older adults is a plus.
• Experience working with or supervising volunteers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine program eligibility and connect clients to services.
• Maintain electronic records and conduct client assessments.
• Coordinate meal deliveries and design delivery routes.
• Supervise and inspire volunteers.
