Job summary

Encore Community Services is seeking an HDM Driver in Midtown Manhattan to handle homebound meal delivery and transportation for Meal Deliverers. You will ensure on-time, safe deliveries across designated routes, and you’ll use the HDM Mobile App to check clients off and log activities.

The role requires reliable, personable individuals with strong communication skills who can work Monday–Saturday, holidays, and in inclement weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License Class E and NYC driving experience required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Able to lift/carry two 30‑pound bags on a rolling cart.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal delivery and packaging.
• Deliver meals to homebound clients and verify delivery in the HDM Mobile App.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and mileage logs.
• Follow traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Report issues to the Lead Driver and Supervisor.
