Job summary

Vernon County Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Meal Site Manager to oversee the serving of meals at designated dining centers and for home-delivered meals under the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Responsibilities include meal service, reservations, volunteer coordination, report preparation, and referrals to the ADRC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED, supplemented by an associate degree in Accounting/Finance with additional courses in business/supervisory management.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a business office.
• Computer experience including accounting and spreadsheet applications; with preference for demonstrated supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and supervises the serving of meals.
• Directs volunteers in kitchen and cleanup.
• Orders meals and supplies.
• Maintains daily attendance sheets, counts, and deposits meal donations.
• Completes monthly reports.
• Recruits volunteers and completes outreach for new consumers.
• Assists with home-delivered meals and special events.
• Assists in packing meals for home-delivered participants.
