Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Managing Director in Public Finance in Columbus, OH. You will lead client relationships with senior executives, drive origination and execution of large affordable housing transactions, and contribute strategic guidance across product and service units.

The role requires 8–10+ years in Public Finance or Debt Capital Markets, FINRA S7/S63, and a proven ability to close complex deals while mentoring junior bankers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant banking experience in Public Finance (required)
• Proven ability to originate, structure, and execute large, complex transactions (required)
• FINRA S7 and S63 licenses required
• Strong client relationship and sales skills

Responsibilities

• Networks inside and outside of the company to broaden business knowledge and increase personal effectiveness; involvement in industry-related associations; establishes a network within the financial community
• Acts as product banker and advisor for major Affordable Housing clients
• Develops and maintains important client relationships and generates revenues from these relationships
• Provides technical and developmental support to more junior individuals on the team
• Assembles a balanced, diverse team to provide high-quality solutions and service to clients
• Executes strategy within corporate guidelines and policies
• Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including acting professionally and ethically
