Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Systems Engineer with MBSE expertise to develop requirements and verification methods for model-based assemblies. You will collaborate with IPT teams to validate integrated assemblies and ensure traceability of requirements through design and test plans.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5 years of experience (or 3 with a master's, or 0 with a PhD) and an active DoD Secret clearance. 1–2 years in MBSE, requirements evaluation, and DOORS/Cameo usage are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 5 years of experience or 3 with master's or 0 with PhD.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required.
• 1-2 years MBSE experience.
• 1-2 years evaluating/writing requirements.
• 1-2 years implementing Systems Engineering processes.
• 1-2 years experience with DOORS and Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, verification methods, model-based subsystem/assembly definitions, and assembly description documents.
• Collaborate with IPT enabling end-to-end development and validation of integrated assemblies.
• Create meaningful verification methods and integrate those requirements with design and test plans.
• Maintain and improve systems engineering artifacts for accuracy and consistency.
