Job summary

Leidos is seeking a cleared Model Based Systems Engineer to join the Defense Sector on the DINM program, with work in Orlando, Dayton, or Northern Virginia. The role partners with the Program Manager to oversee program execution and deliver enterprise command and control solutions for the DoD, coordinating cross-functional teams and government/contractor stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience
• Must possess Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
• Demonstrable knowledge in Systems Engineering modeling tools (e.g. DOORS and Cameo)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives and other systems engineers
• Ability to participate in cross-functional planning and system integration activities
• Familiarity with Cloud/Edge Computing, Networks, and Cybersecurity in DoD contexts
• Experience with Agile program execution and tools (Jira and Confluence)

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain MBSE projects in Cameo Systems Modeler
• Develop MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulations
• Support a System of Systems digital engineering approach for architecture concepts
• Collaborate with multiple contractors and integrate Cameo inputs into source models
• Create baseline architecture models and document network configurations
• Facilitate technical and programmatic information exchange to support objectives
• Participate in Working Groups and IPTs and formal reviews
• Develop technical roadmaps and maintain reference architectures
• Document interfaces and standards
