Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Engineer in Rolling Meadows, IL to lead MBSE efforts in Mission Modeling. You will guide system modeling, analysis, and test activities for complex electronic systems and coordinate with IPTs and customers. U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance are required; role is on-site with potential travel.

Primary salary range $135,800–$203,600; competitive benefits and bonuses apply based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 7+ years of related experience; or Master's/PhD with fewer years.
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving and systems thinking.
• Experience as Systems Engineering lead on IRCM government programs.
• Proficient in SysML modeling with Cameo/Rhapsody.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE activities and develop system models and artifacts.
• Coordinate with IPTs, customers and stakeholders on MBSE deliverables.
• Develop and maintain model development plans and validation reports.
• Present MBSE content to internal/external audiences.
