Job summary

Kearfott Corporation, a leader in precision motion control and navigation, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to define, design, integrate and test next‑generation inertial systems. You will lead MBSE activities and model‑based development for aerospace and defense applications.

The role requires 4+ years in aerospace/defense systems engineering, strong MBSE skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Travel ~15% for reviews and meetings.

Qualifications

• MBSE experience turning requirements into digital models.
• Cameo AE and DOORS for systems modeling and traceability.
• Aerospace/defense systems engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer requirements into MBSE models and digital artifacts.
• Coordinate with customers and IPTs to define features using digital engineering.
• Apply system design, data analysis, and presentation methods to support decisions.
• Apply knowledge to accelerate development, testing, deployment, and upgrades.
• Perform system development activities within a certified quality framework.
