Job summary

Albers Aerospace seeks a Systems Engineer to perform system modeling and MBSE tasks onsite in Melbourne, FL. You will work with Lead Architects, Tech Leadership, and PM on modeling patterns for requirements and architectures, ensuring proper procedures are followed.

The role requires Cameo MBSE experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, logistics, and program management disciplines. U.S. citizenship and TS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related STEM required
• Experience with Cameo MBSE modeling software
• Proficient with SysML and modeling standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working on small agile teams
• Familiarity with aviation/aerospace systems preferred
• U.S. citizen with TS security clearance required

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct work of other engineers and stakeholders.
• Perform system model development, analysis, and reviews with minimal supervision.
• Lead portions of a model or design review and ensure quality outputs.
• Support the generation and modeling of design specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance, and program management to define system specs.
• Maintain filing systems and project tracking databases.
• Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system specifications.
• Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
• Contribute to technical proposals and assess scope of work.
