Job summary

Albers Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer to support technical programs with a focus on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and customer‑facing execution. The role blends hands‑on engineering with program coordination and financial oversight to bridge technical work and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will have MBSE experience using Cameo, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage tasking, schedules, training, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, or professional experience.
• Exposure to Cameo Systems Modeler, SysML, or MBSE tools through coursework or work experience.
• Basic understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycles.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools like Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, SysML through coursework or projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, teamwork, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Onsite in Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance, and analysis of system models using Cameo or MBSE tools.
• Assist with requirements development, allocation, traceability, and verification activities.
• Contribute to generation and modeling of system and subsystem design specifications.
• Support engineering analyses, technical reviews, trade studies, and design assessments with senior engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, finance, and program management teams for system requirements and documentation.
• Maintain project files, databases, and engineering records for configuration management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and interface artifacts.
• Ensure engineering documentation complies with company standards and customer requirements.
