Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Design & Requirements Engineer in Orlando to drive MBSE-based architecture across complex systems. You will develop models for current and future designs, defining architectures and interfaces, and serving as a focal point for communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include architecture development with SysML tools, design reviews, and collaboration with software/hardware teams to ensure system performance and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Requirements development and management experience.
• Interim Secret security clearance to start.
• Experience with MBSE tools and system modeling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture using MBSE techniques and SysML-based tools.
• Create models for current and future system designs and interfaces.
• Define system functionality, states and modes, and subsystem architecture.
• Support internal and external design reviews and maintain architectural documentation.
• Coordinate with requirements management to ensure subsystem model accuracy.
• Model and simulate scenarios to predict performance and behavior.
