Job summary

Strategic ACI seeks a Digital Engineering (DE) / MBSE Engineer to build and operate the modeling backbone of a Digital Engineering Ecosystem supporting NGA. You will lead day-to-day MBSE modeling activities, mission engineering support, and Digital Thread implementation with the platform engineering team.

This role centers on standing up UAF/SysML models, integrating MBSE with MS&A tools, and delivering a modular, open, standards-based ecosystem of tools and pipelines for the program's Digital

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and CI polygraph within 30 days.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or CS, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of MBSE/digital engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve SysML/UAF models (v1/v2) for Digital Twins and enterprise baseline.
• Configure DE tool chain (Cameo, Teamwork Cloud, VS Code/SysIDE) for model validation.
• Ensure interoperability between MBSE and Modeling, Simulation & Analysis tools (AFSIM, STK, Unreal Engine).
• Support requirements management integration with IBM DOORS Next and traceability tooling.
• Participate in current-state capture, tool trades, and gap analysis for DE/MBSE tool Evaluations.
• Deliver repository of MBSE SysML models, DE data, deployments, and the DEMP.
• Collaborate with mission SMEs to translate mission threads into model-based artifacts.
