Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Digital Engineer / MBSE Analyst to help plan, develop, and integrate digital‑twin capabilities across programs. You will shape concepts, architectures, and model‑based engineering artifacts to ensure interoperability and technical soundness in a multi‑system environment.

You will collaborate with data, AI/ML, software, and systems‑engineering teams to define requirements, validate data sources, and manage risk, with travel up to 25% to engage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 10+ years in a Systems Engineering related field OR bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Systems Engineering OR master’s degree with 6+ years in Systems Engineering (additional four years may be substituted for a degree)
• Minimum Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and maintain clearance
• 2+ years of experience applying MBSE in complex system environments
• Experience across full system lifecycle: analysis, planning, design, development, deployment, integration, testing, or configuration of software
• Expertise using the Cameo Systems Modeler suite of tools
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support business needs

Responsibilities

• Aid in technical planning and execution of digital‑twin efforts in support of program objectives.
• Develop digital‑twin concepts, architectures, use cases, and roadmaps with engineering and program teams.
• Assists in adapting Peraton Labs’ agentic AI and digital‑twin capabilities to program needs.
• Define component‑level requirements from operational needs and system objectives.
• Ensure compliance with model interoperability, data‑exchange, and integration guidance across environments.
• Collaborate with data, AI/ML, software, and systems‑engineering teams to identify data sources and validation methods.
• Identify risks, dependencies, sequencing concerns, integration challenges, and capability gaps.
• Keep digital‑twin efforts aligned with MBSE practices and stakeholder needs.
