Job summary

Sabre Systems is recruiting a Journeyman MBSE Systems Engineer for the Model-Based Systems Engineering Division to support the FAC PMA-228 at Patuxent River NAS, Lexington Park, MD. Location is on-site as required; Top Secret/SCI eligible security clearance is required.

Primary responsibilities include applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate military weapons systems, performing MBSE modeling with UML/SysML/UAF, and supporting

Qualifications

• Must have a Technical BS or BA degree.
• Minimum of two (2) years recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology.
• Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
• Familiarity with interface definition practices and verification fundamentals
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, review-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
• Top Secret/SCI eligible security clearance is required
• Selected candidate must be able to pass a background investigation
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
• Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
• Experience with MBSE practices.
• Expertise in building and assessing systems engineering and architecture models using modeling methodologies to conduct technical assessments and recommendations that inform key technical decisions.
• Experience with systems engineering analyses and using the results with other engineering models to draw conclusions and optimize performance, schedule, timing, costs, etc.
• Experience with how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).
• Requires experience with systems engineering and of model-based methodologies.
• Experience with the use of modeling languages and frameworks such as UML, SysML, and UAF.

Compensation Statement

At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows $130,000.00 - $14,000.00
