Job summary

SAIC is seeking an MBSE Subject Matter Expert to lead model-based systems engineering for the NRO Ground Enterprise Directorate. You will shape digital engineering adoption, mentor teams, and architect end-to-end digital threads linking requirements, CONOPS, interfaces, and mission workflows across complex ground and space systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience or higher.
• Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph is required.
• 10+ years of system engineering experience on mission-critical ground architectures.
• Experience with GEOINT/SIGINT domains is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and ability to brief government stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise MBSE strategy and execution across GED programs.
• Model requirements, architectures, and CONOPS for future ground and space systems.
• Develop and maintain SysML/UAF models for architecture and interfaces.
• Mentor teams and promote model-based, data-driven engineering.
• Support acquisition activities with MBSE artifacts and evaluations.
• Coordinate with SMEs, government stakeholders, SETA teams, and contractors.
