Job summary
SAIC's Solutions & Technology Group seeks an experienced MBSE Sr. Digital Engineer to advance digital engineering capabilities for defense, federal civilian, and national security systems.
Onsite in San Diego, with up to 10% travel, you will shape MBSE/SoS architectures and mission engineering frameworks to strengthen national security programs. You will lead MBSE tool usage (Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody), mentor teams, and contribute to business development while providing technical leadership in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or higher degrees with adjusted experience.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
- US Citizenship required.
- Proven experience applying systems and MBSE methods across defense/civilian/national security domains.
- Advanced MBSE tools and frameworks such as SysML/UML.
- Experience with ABT/DoD-like processes and DoW-related priorities.
- Proficiency with MBSE platforms (Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody).
- Experience in architecture, requirements, CONOPS, and verification.
Responsibilities
- Develop MBSE solutions for complex military systems and missions.
- Build digital models for requirements capture and analysis using MBSE techniques and tools.
- Design SoS architectures and capture complex interactions.
- Promote MBSE best practices to improve mission outcomes and simulations.
- Apply Mission Engineering to design solutions aligned with operational scenarios.
- Present technical work in working groups and executive briefings.
- Upskill engineering teams on MBSE standards and methods.
- Oversee lifecycle systems engineering processes, including verification.
