Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Maximo Application Engineer to design, implement, and optimize IBM Maximo across OT/IT environments. You will configure, customize, and integrate Maximo modules, while leading troubleshooting, data management, and reporting efforts.

In this role you will collaborate with client teams, support MAS licensing, and guide IT staff. A strong background in scripting (Python/Java/SQL) and enterprise software is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IBM Maximo consultant or contractor.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in utility, energy, industrial or infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency with scripting and development technologies such as Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Shell scripting, or similar languages.
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or possess a valid Green Card (Permanent Resident Card).
• Candidates must be willing to work hybrid in Sacramento, California.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and customization of IBM Maximo modules to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Maximo applications, including scripting, automation, and integrations.
• Participate in Maximo patching and upgrade projects.
• Provide technical support for Maximo users and troubleshoot issues.
• Data management and migrations for Maximo datasets.
• Manage MAS license lifecycle and renewals to avoid service disruptions.
• Develop reports and ad hoc queries using Maximo reporting tools and SQL.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide guidance.
• Lead and mentor IT staff on MAS support.
