Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer in Fayetteville, NC. The role performs comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound examinations across obstetric and fetal vascular subjects, and related interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The candidate will communicate findings clearly to the Perinatologist and collaborate with the health care team. The ideal candidate holds ARDMS RDMS, Nuchal Translucency or Fetal Echocardiogram

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of AMA approved Sonography program required.
• ARDMS RDMS certification required.
• Nuchal Translucency or Fetal Echocardiogram certification required.
• Level II ARDMS certification in two areas required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Competence in technical operations of all ultrasound equipment.
• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Exams include abdomen, ob-gyn, vascular, infant head/hip/spine, and interventional procedures.
• Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and adapt procedures.
• Uses independent judgment to differentiate normal vs pathologic findings.
• Communicates findings to Perinatologist and supports patient safety and comfort.
• Maintains equipment and department workflow; assists with daily operations.
