Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer II to perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound exams in the Perinatology department in Fayetteville, NC. The role requires ARDMS RDMS and two-area certification, with 2 years of experience and strong patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of AMA approved Sonography program required.
• ARDMS RDMS certification required and Nuchal Translucency or Fetal Echocardiogram certification.
• Level II sonographer must hold ARDMS in two areas.
• Current AHA CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including ob-gyn, abdomen, vascular, and fetal assessments.
• Analyze images, correlate with history, and communicate findings to Perinatologist.
• Maintain equipment, assist with daily ultrasound department operations, ensure patient comfort.
