Job summary

Spartan Emergency Response, part of Terex Corporation, is seeking a Senior Material Planner to manage procurement of production parts and monitor supplier performance. The role focuses on on-time delivery and inventory control, aligning with production schedules and established processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in purchasing/inventory, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and strong skills in MS Office and warehouse management software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management software.
• Must be organized, prioritize, meet deadlines and adapt to varying environments.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and timely decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned parts and suppliers, resolving issues.
• Develop suppliers to improve delivery and inventory control.
• Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production.
• Analyze MRP daily/weekly to issue supplier releases.
• Launch, schedule, defer, expedite, and cancel purchase orders to support production.
• Monitor and update supplier lead-times for system accuracy.
• Verify suppliers receive weekly reports and understand expectations.
