Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Materials Team Leader in the United States, Columbia, SC, to coordinate materials activities including receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory control. You will lead and coach MDI, maintain standard work, and address shortages and flow issues.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, training, ensuring material availability, and maintaining accurate logs and documentation per policy. On-site position with hourly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to influence and lead others directly and indirectly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience applying Lean principles to materials flow.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Lead MDI and related materials activities and meetings.
• Train and coach employees, provide feedback and guidance.
• Ensure material availability and accurate inventories.
• Ensure timely and accurate transactions and logs.
• Maintain documentation per compliance and retention policies.
