Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Materials Lab Engineer in Fort Worth, TX, to lead quality excursions, oversee NPI to production quality, and drive improvements across materials, processes, and products. The role requires hands-on lab work with microscopy, XRF and SEM, plus strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The incumbent will develop QC plans, monitor KPIs, and coordinate audits, ensuring compliance with IPC standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Materials Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in quality systems and lab testing.
• Strong communication and team leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to manage quality excursions and take timely actions.
• Oversee product and material quality from NPI to mass production.
• Develop quality control plans for material, process and product areas.
• Monitor and report quality KPIs for internal and external customers.
• Drive continuous improvement benefiting customers, Celestica and suppliers.
• Lead audits (industry standards, compliance, safety) and track corrective actions.
