Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Failure analysis methodology experience.
• Heat treatment control and verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical investigations and support complex materials and manufacturing challenges for wheels & brakes structures.
• Lead metallurgical failure analysis involving cracking, fatigue, wear, and corrosion.
• Develop or refine metallic material specifications and heat‑treat process instructions.
• Support supplier process evaluations, audits, and capability assessments.
• Support development of improvements to materials, coatings, and corrosion prevention systems.
• Evaluate forging quality, grain flow, defects, and machining‑related anomalies.
