Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in materials management, supply chain planning, demand planning, production scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Significant experience in manufacturing environment and with multiple planning functions.
• Experience leading through managers and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and metrics.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Customer Demand Management, Production Scheduling, and Material Planning.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers responsible for demand planning, production scheduling, and materials planning.
• Establish clear expectations and accountability across planning teams.
• Translate customer forecasts into production and material plans.
• Develop scheduling strategies balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and efficiency.
• Ensure material availability while optimizing inventory and minimizing risk.
• Monitor KPIs related to delivery, inventory, planning accuracy, and performance.
• Lead responses to demand fluctuations, capacity, supplier issues, and shortages.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement in inventory optimization and planning.
