Job summary

Raytheon Marlborough, MA is seeking a Senior Planning and Production Control Specialist to lead material planning and production control across high mix/low volume programs.

This onsite role coordinates demand, inventory, BOMs, and supplier activity to meet contract schedules and customer requirements.

Applicants should hold a university degree (or equivalent), have 5+ years of relevant experience, and be familiar with MRP, SAP, and PRISM; opportunities include competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Material analysis experience using an MRP system or similar systems.
• Experience with SAP, PRISM and/or related tools.

Responsibilities

• Material Planning and Production Control functions on high mix / low volume production and development programs.
• Execute the program to meet the customer’s requirements and the delivery of product to the contract schedule.
• Oversee / manage the supply chain process from proposal activities through contract closure.
• Assess supply resources, aggregates, and prioritizes demand requirements, plans inventory, kitting requirements, production, material, and rough-cut capacity for all products.
• Analyze and aggregate purchase material supply / demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
• Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent BOM requirements.
• Participate in build schedule generation to ensure proper scheduling of program requirements.
• Generate purchase requisitions and purchase order placement through supply chain.
• Analyze the inventory position against the material requirements and determines the critical part of procured materials and subassemblies.
• Control and coordinate disposition of subassemblies and materials affected by Engineering Change Notices.
