Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Manager, Scheduling at its Andover, MA facility. The role focuses on using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to forecast material and workforce needs, coordinating across planning, production control, operations, quality, and engineering to meet critical customer deadlines.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in supply chain, production planning, and cross-functional leadership, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience or an Advanced Degree with relevant experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Production and Planning Control, Inventory Management, Logistics, or Capacity Planning.
• Experience leading a daily team or similar leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Present and drive metric-based improvements across the Value Stream.
• Manage a team of Production Control Managers and Professionals.
• Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting; releasing production orders in MRP and confirming in shop floor.
• Coordinate Kit Readiness with cross-functional teams (BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, Document Control).
• Provide production floor support including replacement part management and WIP movement.
• Control disposition of nonconforming or special materials (Return to Vendor, purged material).
• Coordinate program schedules with Global Supply Chain Mgmt, Subcontracts, Engineering, and other functions.
• Support actions to meet customer commitments and accelerate cross-functional accountability.
• Complete EACs; maintain shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems via KPIs.
• Manage piece-part movement to support internal build with subcontractors and Raytheon facilities.
